At Clínica CIME we want to show you different ways to improve flaccidity, while maintaining firm and smooth skin.
Sagging is one of the problems that most concern our patients. This loss of firmness is due to the decrease or weakness of the tissues that support our skin, collagen and elastin.
The areas where we usually find the most flaccidity are: neck, décolleté, jaw angle and eyelids. At the body level, the most problematic areas are: thighs, abdomen, buttocks and arms.
First of all, we must understand the reason for its appearance, it is due to various causes, the most common being the passage of time, the proteins that keep the skin firm lose strength and end up sagging, creating this flaccidity. Other possible causes are: sedentary lifestyle, overexposure to the sun and sudden weight change, either due to pregnancy or repeated weight changes.
To combat flaccidity, at Clínica CIME we have a great ally, multipolar radiofrequency, achieving an internal heating that oxygenates the skin and subcutaneous fatty tissue. This cellular oxygenation favors lymphatic drainage and helps the formation of new collagen and fibroblasts even in aging areas.
The radiofrequency treatment can be applied to both facial areas and neck, décolleté or body areas such as the inner thigh or knees.
Radiofrequency is a treatment that varies from 4 to 12 sessions depending on the area and the flaccidity that the patient has, performing 1 to 2 sessions per week.
In the case of radiofrequency, an external complement to the treatment by the patient is necessary, it is necessary to exercise and maintain a balanced diet, drink two liters of water a day and avoid unnecessary toxins, such as tobacco, in addition to continuing the treatment at home with firming cosmetics, which will keep the area activated. In the application of firming creams we will always do a deep and upward massage.
